With the XB Falcon becoming so rare, we actually have a few people looking out for potential base cars on our behalf. This one is now available to us as a potential base car, however for the first time in a few years we do not currently have an order for the build-up of an Interceptor. Therefore we have decided to pass this base car onto the website for sale.

     The car has some rusty sections, and these are of the standard normal repaired during a build-up. The trunk sections that normally rust badly have been repaired and are OK. The drive train is a 302 Cleveland V8, with Holley and after market inlet manifold, to a 4 speed manual gear box.

So these are the options…

• $8,500 AUD - The car absolutely as it stands as a functional and driving XB coupe.
  
• $10,500 AUD - If we do some initial preparation for replica manufacture, IE: Sunroof removal, so the car goes back to a factory flat roof thus a new interior headlining will be fitted and replacement of rain gutter channels (no doubt removed in a particular mid-1980’s fashion trend) is $10,500 AUD with roof left unpainted and $11,000 if the roof is repainted.
  
• $16,500 AUD - All of above: Plus MAD MAX film correct body kit supplied. IE: Monza nose, roof spoiler, trunk spoiler, wheel arch flares, this represents $5,500 AUD for the MAD MAX kit -normal parts kit value is $6,250 AUD.
  
• $20,500 AUD - All above with the MAD MAX parts kit fitted to the car.
  
• $22,000 AUD - All above with MAD MAX wheels supplied less tyres.
  
• $30,000 AUD  - All above with rust sections repaired and the car painted in MAD MAX paint work.
