March 24, 2006: After 32 years as a 6 cylinder family shopping trolley, the future Main Force Patrol Interceptor finally carries a 351 Cleveland. Yes finally a V8 with a shining new Holley 650 Double pumper sitting on top. Now long past that point that could have easily been the very end of its life, the new Interceptor is undercoated and fitted with both the flares and roof spoiler, so it is clearly taking on the familer MFP shape. You can also see that the freshly painted hood is now ready for the replica. And yes if have not already spotted it in the engine bay ... it is airconditioned!
